Message From the Principal

Welcome to Bywood Elementary School and thank you for visiting our webpage.

I am so very proud to be the principal of Bywood Elementary and look forward to continuing the great works and endeavors started by Mr. Marshaleck. We would like to wish him well on his transition into the Director of Special Education position.

Bywood Elementary School’s mission is to provide a challenging educational program where effective instructional practices are utilized across all learning environments. All staff, students, parents and administrators continue to create and sustain a positive school culture through our core values: collaboration, communication, leadership, hard work, respect, responsibility, safety and courage.

Our extraordinary staff is dedicated to meeting the needs of all children and to moving our students forward. We value and accommodate a diversity of cultures and learning styles while providing a challenging and safe learning environment.

At Bywood Elementary, we believe in the “team” approach to education. We encourage open and positive communication between parents and staff members. Please feel free to contact your child’s teacher at any time, and tell us how we can help you. We strongly encourage parental involvement, and persuade volunteers to attend our Home and School Association meetings. Together, we can impart a world of understanding into the minds and hearts of every Bywood student.

If there is anything that I can ever do for you, please do not hesitate to contact me.
